·              As Professional Field Services Manager / Project Manager; May 2011 – Current:

o       Responsible for the profitable operations of the company’s combined Installation and Service departments. Job functions include reporting department P&L, management of personnel and sub-contractors, coordinates project activities for operations, engineering, planning, maintenance, business development, and logistics for large scale multi-million dollar contracts (shown below).

o       Field Services Project Manager, supporting AMTRAK Washington DC Union Station – Amtrak $5M+ contract to provide IP Video Surveillance System (490+ cameras) with intelligent video analytics and video management software for the Amtrak Police at the historic Washington Union Station complex, including not only all station areas, platforms, and levels but along tracks north and south of the surround station areas as well. Directed the design, installation, management of multiple contract teams and shift personnel, not only completing the work ahead of schedule, but again receiving highest contractor rating available from Amtrak.

o       Field Services Project Manager, supporting AMTRAK Sanford, FL Station - Amtrak $2M contract to provide IP Video Surveillance System (130+ cameras) with intelligent video analytics and integrated with video management software, automated vehicle gates and access control systems for Sanford, FL Auto Train Facility. Directed the design, installation and sign-off of entire project ahead of schedule and receiving highest possible contractor rating.

o       Field Services Manager, supporting City of Philadelphia Police Department - Real Time Crime Center in partnership with Microsoft as Preferred Gold Status Partner. Managing all deployment teams in Philadelphia for installation of cameras, video analytics, rack systems, wireless, and infrastructure. Managing integration of camera systems from AMTRAK, SEPTA, Philadelphia Regional Port Authority, Philadelphia Regional Airport, National Parks Service, and local city departments.

o       SITE Project Manager, supporting US ARMY CORP of ENG, US ARMY Europe Mission Control Center new construction in Wiesbaden, Germany Army Air Base. Managed installation teams for CCTV, Card Access Control, HVAC Control Systems, Fire Alarm, and Mass Communications Systems throughout the facility complex. Provided installation, testing, engineering, and turn-over support.

o       SITE Project Manager, supporting US Marine Corp. (MCIEAST MCAS) Beaufort SC and Cherry Point NC Marine Corps Bases in partnership with AES and SAIC partner services. Provided survey, design, procurement, new installation, testing, and turnover support for ground-based radars, thermal cameras, Northrop Grumman TASS systems, and installation of wired, fiber, and wireless communications for waterside security for MCAS locations.

 

·              As PMO Site Manager (NYNJ Port Authority Airport Sites) May 2008 – May 2011:

o       Responsible for integrating large complex systems comprised of physical security sensor technologies, protected networks, and redundant servers hosting command and control applications.

o       Responsible for deployment of several multi-million dollar contract sites, TEB, EWR, and LGA Airport systems to Prime Contractor, meeting contract requirements on system, and managing the contract schedule and resources to meet milestones.

o       Responsible for managing the cross-functional staff of Integration, Field Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Developers, and Subject Matter Experts on-site and ensuring that working groups met contract requirements and customer needs, to include weekly assignments.

o       Acted as lead field engineer on-site performing integration, maintenance, and calibration of all sensor components and sub-assemblies. Performed quality inspections on installation and documentation of daily status from site. Considered Subject Matter Expert on-site for all sensors and systems during integration. Systems included Ground-based Radars, Fence Sensor Systems, CCTV and Video Analytics Systems and Network Configurations for C2 System.

Video Teleconferencing (VTC)/Multimedia Maintenance/Network Infrastructure Manager

 

o     Responsible for Managing the USAF EC world-class learning campus including: 52+ multimedia classroom systems, Grace Peterson Hall Auditorium and vast Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems and Infrastructure production and maintenance team. Supports over 108 teachers, 300 staff members and 16,000 in-residence/18,400 distance-learning students, 300+ VTC events, 80+ Department of Defense (DOD) ceremony and productions annually, as well as General officers, Joint-base commanders, flag officers, and key decision-making DOD personnel. Supervised the Multimedia/Infrastructure Event Production & Systems Maintenance Teams.

o     COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO) for Multiple Secure site accreditations on the DVS-G and DVS II network, crypto key tracking and secure storage approval, emission security approval (EMSEC) of systems. COMSEC Tier III expert technician - VTC/DATA trunk encryption devices (KIV-19,KG-194,TACLANE, KIV7M)

o     Directed the installation and certification of a VTC over IP hub-capable facility, the first in Air Force/AMC command! Completed first base-level project for VTC over SIPRNET using TACLANE crypto equipment – DVSG Tier III Support of General Officers across command for secure communications daily.

o     Classroom design, engineering and installation of 20+ Classroom Training Centers. Project planning tasks included: engineering new room designs, performing extensive site surveys, ordering equipment/parts/tools required, CAD drawing updates and extensive man-hour planning, complete end-to-end installation, system delivery and hand-off, and QA on all training and systems.

 

United States Air Force, Andrews Air Force Base, MD; Years 2000 - 2006

Base Intrusion Detection Systems Supervisor, 89^th COMMS Squadron/Presidential Air Group (PAG)

o     Supervised the Maintenance of $4.2M video imaging and intrusion detection systems equipment directly supporting the 89th Security Forces Squadron's mission to provide immediate and reliable electronic security for Presidential and Special Air Mission aircraft and facilities.  Provided complete section supervision for all field-level, first-look and repair capability on systems supporting Air Force One (AF-1), Senior Executive (SENEX) and Central Security Control facilities.

o     Responsible Non-commissioned Officer In-Charge for the complete staff that installed, inspected, troubleshot and performed preventative maintenance inspections on alarm enunciators and closed circuit television systems; interior/exterior alarm sensors; microwave and fence mounted motion detection systems; transponders; video monitors, coaxial and fiber-optic video/data transmission system and all exterior flight-line security sensors and complete badge and access control system for Presidential Air Group Compound that housed Air Force One.

o     Direct support for President of the United States and Air Force One Complex Security Systems. Held strict security standards for 4+ years without fail and led the security maintenance & engineering team in all aspects of the job. This entailed everything from shop management and financial planning to direct supervision of maintenance teams.
